McDonald Highlands "Run Through The Hills" 5K

Please save the date!  On November 10th, MacDonald Highlands in Henderson is hosting its 2nd Annual "Run Through The Hills" 5K Run & 1M Walk to benefit the animal rescue work of Nevada SPCA.

We participated last year and had a wonderful time!

Numerous prizes based on age categories, along with refreshments, and the run takes place through the beautiful neighborhoods in MacDonald Highlands, ending at the DragonRidge Country Club.

Sign-up online.  Each entry includes a race T-shirt and post-race lunch. 

Each participant will be entered into a raffle for prizes by local vendors. 

The top 3 runners in each age group will be awarded immeidately after the race.

More than 6,000 animal lovers of all ages now attend this annual event to celebrate the lives of rescued animals and promote humane education and responsible pet ownership.

Children earn Animal Hero Badges by participating in fun, thought-provoking activities that encourage them to respect and appreciate animals.

Other highlights include professional pet portraits, low-cost microchipping, entertainers, music, and a wide range of food and product vendors.

This is a family-friendly event.  Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Attendance is free.

Sponsorship proceeds fund Nevada SPCA's humane education programs.
