New obedience training classes:

Please contact Maria Hosmer for more details at 448-5398 or by email at maria@dog-e-mom.com.  Please note that participating dogs need to be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations prior to enrollment.  Also, the first day of the class is for people only and an orientation, then your dog(s) join you for the remaining classes.  Thank you.

The Nevada SPCA is very proud to partner with Maria Hosmer to offer Dog-E-Mom Dog Training at the Nevada SPCA on Saturday mornings for adopters, members, and the public.

The 6-week courses are $90 (members and adopters get a 10% discount):

• Naughty 2 Nice - adults with behavior problems,

• Proper Puppy - puppies under 6 months of age,

• Behaved Beginner - dogs 6 months and older,

• Clever Canine - advanced training for adults.

Some of Nevada SPCA's longest-time dog residents go home with free "Behaved Beginner" dog training.  (Please visit for more details.)

Others, like Ginny below, have already graduated from beginner class, thanks to volunteer escorts on Saturday mornings.

Maria can also help you with The Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) certification for your dog.
