Special needs animal
Precious senior, Angora & Persian mix, spayed girl, 12 years.
This independent kitty is Dharma, she was brought to us from another shelter when they became over populated. Dharma can be a bit timid when first meeting you, but once she feels comfortable and knows she is able to trust you she will open up beautifully. Dharma seem to be a one cat and one person home only type of girl. Dharma feels unsafe when you walk up to her trying to pick her up because she is front declawed, she's starts to get defensive. When it comes to the other cats Dharma wont put up with them, she will be quick to put them in their places. One good way to make Dharma trust you is giving her treats, she LOVES treats! It would probably be best if Dharma goes to a home with no children, she has nipped in the past.
Come meet Dharma in the Senior room.
