Each cat, dog, and rabbit for adoption is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on major vaccinations.

Nevada SPCA has not raised adoption fees in more than 12 years.
Cats: The adoption fee for young adult cats is $40-$200. The fee is reduced to just $20-$50 for cats 5 years and older. The adoption fees for kittens range from $50 to $200.
Dogs: Dog adoption fees range from $50 to $200, mostly depending on age. The average adoption fee for young adult dogs is only $75. The fee is substantially reduced for senior dogs, bonded pairs, and special needs dogs. The adoption fees for puppies range from $125 to $200.
Rabbits: The adoption fee for a bunny is $25 (for singles) and $40 (for bonded pairs).
Adoption fees for other species vary for fish, turtle, chickens, roosters, pot-bellied pigs, goats, gerbils, hamsters, mice, and rats.
Please be sure to bring your whole family to ensure the animal you are considering for adoption will be accepted by all other members of your family. It is especially important to bring young children and your family's current dog. Please call our front office staff at 873-SPCA with any questions or concerns.
